I'm wearing my dressing gown.

It's big and red and fluffy.

Currently baking. Details to be announced at a later date. (Itsa suprise.)

Lovely few days of being fed.
Sunday went out for dinner with the Pedrophile. Monday fajitas at Charlotte's. Tuesday curry at Harry's. And today pasta at Sarah's.
Monday was quite lovely. We ceilidhed hard.

The whole cutting down on drinking was working well in some respects, as I haven't been out since resolving it.
But failing in others, as I have drunk a lot.
With my current penchant for baking and my continuing gin habit I'm quite happy to announce I'm turning into a 1950s housewife. Which, in all honestly I can life with.

Met with my lovely David Hampton, that is THE David W. Hampton of Cell-Mediated Neuroprotection in a Mouse Model of Human Tauopathy [2010] Neurobiology of Disease.
And yeah, talked through summer stuff. I should be up for eight weeks in the summer playing with mice brains and hopefully saving lives.
Basically, it's a prospective treatment for Frontal Temporal Dementia, but could also work for people suffering from strokes or Alzheimer's. EXCITING.
(S'all about increasing glutamate re-uptake in astrocytes.)

So... all time top things...
I dunno.
  • PEOPLE
  • 'kittens' gang and associated events
  • Edinburgh family
  • learning about things I actually enjoy
  • Aaall the festivals
That's a kinda shit one because I panicked.
So... well... erm... here's some people in kilts.
