Oh hello.
Guys, I have been a little disappointed by the number of blogs this week, I guess David was on holiday but what’s your excuse Tom? Also Cath, do you still even do this? It hasn’t been too bad though, that other blog that we don’t talk about has also missed a couple of days, I can only imagine they were too busy sucking balls.
So this week there have been all riots and stuff. I know they were really bad and serious but I couldn’t help but be a little bit excited. I’m not really sure why, I guess I was just attracted to the spectacle of it all. Seriously though, fuck those guys who burned down the big PIAS/Sony warehouse, it had all the stock from most of the UK’s independent record labels including Xtra Mile who are the guys who do all of Frank Turner, Ben Marwood, Beans on Toast, The Xcerts and Crazy Arm’s CDs. So yeah, if you feel like buying any of their stuff, now would be a good time to do it because they sure could use the support.
I’m going to Greenman on Thursday and I am just starting to get excited now, it’s sort of crept up on me a bit and I haven’t really thought much about it yet. I’m not really sure which band I am most excited to see but I thing Noah and the Whale will be cool and so will Laura Marling. They also have a giant treasure hunt there which will be so sick.
So Saturday was pretty much a perfect day I think. I played cricket in the day and I was pretty awesome and then I came home to my friends already being in my house and I got terribly drunk. Tom made a drink for raping girls and I think that was why I felt so horrible this morning. I done some more cricket today but I was really in no way to be doing anything other than lying in a darkened room and running around made me feel just awful.
I’ve just taken my dog for a really long walk because she’s had a fairly shit weekend what with being left alone all day Saturday and Sunday and being worried by all the people in the house last night. For all the downsides of living in the countryside, on evenings like this it really is fucking beautiful. I saw a deer mummy and its baby, some baby rabbits and a sparrow hawk; it was awesome and I was really happy. This is what it looked like:
David and Josh, I want to hear interesting tales of your travels.
Cath, are you still there?
Tom, write a blog boy.
Juliet, fuck Scotland.
