Why have a title?

Good evening.

Firstly I would like to thank Matt for covering for me last week; I very much enjoyed his blog. Also Miranda, you’re awesome. The last blog actually written by one of us was on August 15th. That’s almost 2 weeks ago. Not cool guys, not cool.

So last weekend was Greenman, really it should have been Greenwoman seeming as I was the only guy who went. I had a lovely time though and all the new people I met were great. My personal highlights were listening to Tim Minchin sing “fuck the motherfucking pope”, watching Noah and the Whale and falling asleep whilst watching Apocalypse Now. We also watched a horror film called The Shout; if anyone can explain the plot of it to me I will give them like a bajillion pounds because it literally made no sense at all!

On Tuesday I went to Tom’s for a grown up fancy dinner party, I wore a shirt and everything. We had a lovely meal and played charades and drank wine, we also played wii golf and I was amazing.

In other news I have bought LA Noire and thathas consumed a fair amount of my week. I like being a detective but I am pretty shit at questioning people, I think I’m just too trusting. I am currently on the hunt for some drug dealer or something, I don’t know, I haven’t been paying much attention to the story.

David, challenge accepted. This is me dressed up to go to a party when I was little. As you can see, I was a total badass:

I haven’t seen most of you in fucking ages and summer feels like it’s almost over. This makes me sad; we haven’t done half the stuff I wanted to do. With this in mind I propose we go to the beach and Somerford in early September and also maybe go to Thorpe Park or something. I don’t really know when y’all go back though so let’s plan that some time.

This blog was kind of dull and for that I am sorry. I'll try and actually write about something proper next week. In the mean time, here is a recent xkcd which I expect some of you have already seen, but if not, I thought it was funny:

Love you.

I'M DISAPPOINTED.

You guys are all really terrible at posting on this.

SO, I went to Greenman at the weekend and it was awesome! Very, very awesome!! We saw cool bands, and stuff. The weather was very lovely too, and there was a ferris wheel, that I went on with Catie and Billy on Sunday night because the others said they would meet us but didnt. I was a little bit scared when we stopped near the top ;) Everyone got on well too considering most poeple didn't really know each other. The food was good, I think that is mostly what everyone thought about when we were there haha. Pie Minister was the best. I think I could ramble on for ages but I shan't because there's too much to say :)

OMG just saw a post on Buzzfeed where a man tried to microwave his cat to kill it. A large part of me has just died. :((( Feel sad with me..

Anyway.....

Is this how they make food at Los Gatos and that place Josh works at..?

Hullo I'm Dr. Will and I'll be fingering you today

I jest. It's actually Matt. Will's at Green Man seeing some bands I've never heard of and so has trusted me with the greatest honour a friend can give- writing words. Who knows how this could turn out?

Well probably not very well, beause after spilling water on my keyboard in a freak wind-blind-glass of water chain reaction, the c doesn't work. For those of you experiening the same problem, Alt 99 will do the trick but the chances of me remembering to do that are low.

So for many, myself included, last thursday was the first anniversary of their AS level results day, or for those of you in the know- A level results day. This, however, is only a minor detail in the much more interesting tale of my breakfast that day. After walking to college and back at shit o'clock in the morning with some mediocre A levels I went to the Old Town cafe for the first time EVER. I ordered the Famous Big Boy Platter, a meal with such a queer name that the only way to regain your pride is to eat all of it. It features two of basically every food you can imagine, including sausages, and being in a good mood the nice lady let me swap my eggs and tomato for MORE SAUSAGES giving me a total of 5 to go with my already painfuly large meal. Needless to say I destroyed that shit and even had room for complimentry gum afterwards. Then I had to stumble home and sleep it off for 4 hours. Best breakfast ever.

Guys who are at Green Man, I hope you have/had a great time.
Guys who are not, why aren't we hanging out right now?
Juliet, are you ever even fucking coming back from Edinburgh or can I have your stuff?

HELLO ALL

No, this is not Juliet speaking to from beyond the grave, it is me MIRANDA! Thinking about it, I could have done a guess who, and everyone would have to try and guess who I am. But, I am kind and have saved you all the effort. :)
So I am going to Greenman tomorrow which is very exciting, there are soooooooo many good bands and shizzle. I hope it doesn't rain, my parnets went last year and said it rained so much which was a bit of a bugger because Wales is hilly. I think Fleet Foxes will be lovely and I hope Noah and the Whale and Laura Marling get together.

David - I see you did some listening to Skrillex (or however it is spelt), it's so strange to think that he is the ex 'singer' in From First To Last.

I can't think of much else to say but everyone leaves soon I think, and I start work in a couple of weeks which will be good but bad because i will be less social when everyone leaves. I sign off in two weeks too, which is exciting because I won't have to go to the job centre anymore, although I quite liked the lady I signed on with. It's funny how I would rather work for money than get it for nothing at the job centre, I think that's a good thing though.

I thought I would post a picture for you all to look at and admire..:
I like cats.

I hate Russian dolls, they're so full of themselves.

Yeah, I was on T.V, what of it?

I'm sorry about last week guys! I almost sorted out kate blogging for me but then I forgot password deets and things, my bad.

SOSINCEMYLASTBLOG. I turned 19 which was just super, I got so drunk at my party that I was very sick during my actual birthday, then I went to sarahs and that was also fun. I got a melodica and some money for berlin and some tshirts off kate and a bag and lounge trousers WITH POCKETS. Then I went to london and sang in a prom which was pretty much the best thing I've ever done. Then I went to the lake district which was quite cool, saw some fam and did some mountains. Now I'm back in swindon which is lovely but not for very long SIGH.

Today I hung out at toms house which was fun. I wish I had more interesting things to put in this blog but I just don't. Maybe we should do challenges or something? Also maybe there should be hilarious punishments for missed blogs, just saying.

I KNOW THIS IS MEDIOCRE.

To compensate, here is a video of some dubstep with lyrics.

Will you blog like a trooper, Tom you're breaking my heart, Josh I havn't seen you in so long! Juliet fuck edinburgh, Cath le sigh.

Oh and challenge: I found a really ridiculous picture of me singing with long hair when I'm about 10, if anyone uploads a good picture of themselves from ages ago I'll put it in my next blog ;)

PEACE

If this hangover is killing me I died at least 3 times during the night...

Oh hello.

Guys, I have been a little disappointed by the number of blogs this week, I guess David was on holiday but what’s your excuse Tom? Also Cath, do you still even do this? It hasn’t been too bad though, that other blog that we don’t talk about has also missed a couple of days, I can only imagine they were too busy sucking balls.

So this week there have been all riots and stuff. I know they were really bad and serious but I couldn’t help but be a little bit excited. I’m not really sure why, I guess I was just attracted to the spectacle of it all. Seriously though, fuck those guys who burned down the big PIAS/Sony warehouse, it had all the stock from most of the UK’s independent record labels including Xtra Mile who are the guys who do all of Frank Turner, Ben Marwood, Beans on Toast, The Xcerts and Crazy Arm’s CDs. So yeah, if you feel like buying any of their stuff, now would be a good time to do it because they sure could use the support.

I’m going to Greenman on Thursday and I am just starting to get excited now, it’s sort of crept up on me a bit and I haven’t really thought much about it yet. I’m not really sure which band I am most excited to see but I thing Noah and the Whale will be cool and so will Laura Marling. They also have a giant treasure hunt there which will be so sick.

So Saturday was pretty much a perfect day I think. I played cricket in the day and I was pretty awesome and then I came home to my friends already being in my house and I got terribly drunk. Tom made a drink for raping girls and I think that was why I felt so horrible this morning. I done some more cricket today but I was really in no way to be doing anything other than lying in a darkened room and running around made me feel just awful.

I’ve just taken my dog for a really long walk because she’s had a fairly shit weekend what with being left alone all day Saturday and Sunday and being worried by all the people in the house last night. For all the downsides of living in the countryside, on evenings like this it really is fucking beautiful. I saw a deer mummy and its baby, some baby rabbits and a sparrow hawk; it was awesome and I was really happy. This is what it looked like:

David and Josh, I want to hear interesting tales of your travels.

Cath, are you still there?

Tom, write a blog boy.

Juliet, fuck Scotland.

Friday, 12 August 2011

wait,

It's still Thursday, right?

GOD every time I try to post a picture I have to wrestle with blogger for it!

This week was wild. I went to Lily's for the weekend, then went to Falmouth and saw the seaside. Jubs I'm so sorry I missed your birthday, I just got back this morning (Thursday morning). I saw John C. actually today, in Town. He gave me his spare change. And I saw Kate, hello Kate, I'm sorry I was quite drunk when I saw you.

Actually, I must admit, I've been deleting every other word I've typed to retype it cause I keep on spelling my words wrong.

So I heard about all that rioting that has been on while I've been away, you should all feel ashamed of yourselves.

Especially you, Tom.

Love to your Mothers.

MOTHERFUCKING BIRTHDAY

Gon do this quick because it's my motherfucking birthday.
Life is very lovely. Fieldview was amazing and revolutionised the way I saw shapes. It is in fact my birthday. Most of England is on fire. I personally lost an arm and a couple of toes in the Swindon riots but then calmly explained it was my birthday and the youths backed off.
Faye is in the bath and Sarah is on the train. These are my Uni friends with enough love and dedication to be here.
David and Oonagh and I think Josh are not here. They do not have enough love and dedication to be here.
Next blog post I'll be in Scotland, I'll see if I can arrange a sub.
So, for now - BAI

Blogging like a boss

Oh hey you guys, fancy seeing you here.

So yeah, blogs, they’re okay I guess. I don’t really know how to approach this new found responsibility but I have decided to try and take this as seriously as possible. I made a profile and stuff to post on here with the help of Tom but I really couldn’t think of a good nickname, I would love your help with that. Also Josh, I think Joshua Punn is pretty cool. This blog now has pride of place on my bookmarks bar, way in front of any other blogs that are written by people I know because let’s face it, this one is the best.

I’m going to start out pretty safely and just talk about stuff what has happened to me recently. David’s on Monday was wicked sick although Matt’s house afterwards was actually hotter than the sun. Tuesday at Sarah’s was also rad, I particularly enjoyed watching Fantastic Mr Fox at 4 in the morning; I don’t understand how that film is so good. The rest of this week I have done nothing except dig a big ditch in my garden, it is boring as fuck and really hot and you get bitten by flies and I don’t like it, my parents are being kind enough to pay me to do it though so I shouldn’t really complain, also I am really fucking good at digging ditches, just so you know. I have also been writing to doctor’s to try and get them to pay me to sort out their paper medical records, I have written to a couple so far but none seem to have any money at the moment, I blame Mr Cameron.

Yesterday I played cricket in Moredon, it is a bit of a shit hole but their cricket pitch is actually quite nice. We lost because the other team cricketed harder than us. Afterwards I went to Kate’s house and got really drunk but at least I wasn’t sick out of the window like someone was. While we were there David was on TV and my mind was fucking blown. This is what David on TV looks like:

Talking of things that blew my mind, the way they test sellotape to check it is sticky enough is really fucking cool.

David, I hope singing and London was awesome.

Josh, I hope I hope Somerset is nice and I would be well up for getting a free trees ticket.

Juliet and Cath, I want to hear all about fieldview.

Tom, remember that time when the guy had to open the gate for the polystyrene?

COOL
