Watching In The Loop, will blog later :)
Ok here goes.
I have actually had a relatively action packed week this week It started bright and early on Monday for exam time. The exam itself was ok I think. I have proved extremely poor at predicting the outcomes of these uni exams in the past though so I shall leave my thoughts on it at that.
Tuesday saw the start of my fourth and final hospital week if second year. We were doing neurological examinations and history taking. Having found the teaching of neurology pretty tough, the hospital stuff seemed to make a lot more sense. I don't know if this was just due to having 3 weeks previous patient experience or whether I am just particularly good at that sort of thing, but either way, I really enjoyed myself. The neurological exam itself involves no innapropriate touching or removal of clothing so I am going to practice the shit out of it on you guys when I next see you! One of the highlights of the week was learning to do fundoscopy (looking into people's eyes). We got to practice on each other and this involved putting the drug tropicamide into our eyes, it dilates your pupils something silly (it is an anticholinergic drug if you're interested in pharmacology). Here is it's result on my eyes, they were like that for about 4 hours and it made it really hard to see close up things and everything was far too bright.
On Friday I played pub golf for a guy called Owen's birthday. We did it around all the bars at the uni halls up where I was last year. I had a really big fish and chips for tea beforehand and it didn't prepare me very well for drinking large volumes in short periods of time, I was just too full. I managed ok for my round though and ended up well under par, however, with better preparation I think I could have managed a perfect score of 9.
Last night was Imperial Leisure but I ended up not going as it was all a bit difficult and no one else wanted to go. That was a little bit rubbish.
Today I have done extremely little. I started reading Catching Fire and am now almost halfway through. I also watched Mulan because it was on channel 5 earlier. I think the last time I saw it was at Kate's and I was really drunk and mad at it. I don't know why because it is a quite lovely film.
I have tomorrow off for some reason which is lovely. I am going to sleep lots and read more Hunger Games.
I am actually home again next weekend. I am playing cricket on the Saturday but will probably hang around until the Monday as it is a bank holiday. Is anyone going to be around to hang out at some point?
I am sad Chris isn't going to be part of this blog, but I really do look forward to reading of his exploits. Even if it will be on an inferior blog.
Love you and hope to read lots from you all this week!

UNAAAAY
So I am right back in Bristol now.
I have an exam tomorrow and that is a pretty scary prospect. I have revised quite hard but I am still worried. Oh well, we shall see.
My week has mainly centred around the aforementioned revision so not a whole lot of exciting news. Kate's birthday was really lovely on Wednesday, I had the best time. My only regret was not really realising it would be the last time I saw everyone before coming back here and so I did not say bye properly. The good news is this term isn't particularly long and I should be back by mid June!
I finished the first Hunger Games a couple of days ago. It was quite a good book. I think the film had a more exciting ending though, it seemed like in the book the author got a bot bored by the time it got down to the last 3 tributes. Oh well, it was still thoroughly entertaining.
In my list of blog ideas I have on my phone the only recent addition is an entry which simply says 'Puppies Easter'. I have no idea what I was getting at with that. It sounds adorable what ever it is. I'll see if I can remember it some time.
This week I am on hospital placement from Tuesday. I hope this will be fun. We learning neuro examinations so I am assuming this will be less poking of people and more shining little torches in their eyes and hitting their knees with hammers.
I really ought to go to bed now, early start tomorrow :-/
EDIT I think this was the puppies thing:

A quick blog
to say, lets not give up.
But I get lazy during revision.
Doing something constructive (ish) during revision time, and I'm like BITCH PLEASE I NEED TO BE WORKING.
But lying in bed, watching endless episodes of Grey's Anatomy, scrolling through Facebook, trawling the internet for pictures of seals and it's COME ON BRO, I NEED A BREAK.
In other words. I get nothing done.
I'm back to Edinburgh on Saturday, so best see everyone before I go.
Being back has been nice.
Thursday dog walk and Roaring Donkey with assorted friends.
Friday getting drunk and vommy with Cath.
Saturday walkies with Oonagh.
Sunday revision break with David
Monday croft, Sun Inn, hustings, Goddard, Donkey, Chris Ward vomited in my toilet.
Tuesday Dominoes with Cath.
Today Savoy for Kate's?
Here's an amusing seal.

Fuck a duck, 14 minutes late, I'm ashamed of myself. Tommorrow I promise <3
Several hours later
Several hours later
I didn’t blog on time. I’m sorry.
This week has been awesome. Thursday/Friday/Saturday was
super cool but perhaps David is the only one who would be interested in that
and he was already there, so I won’t elaborate any further.
Revision is still happening and is still dull and that's all I
really have to say about that.
I started reading The Hunger Games. It is lovely and easy to
read. It is similar in story to the film so far but the characters are quite
different. Katniss is an asshole to almost everyone almost all of the
time. I think knowing the story is slightly spoiling the book too as all the dramatic
bits so far I have known what will happen. I am looking forward to
finishing this book and going on to the next.
I go back to uni in a week and I really don’t want to. I am
scared of my exam and I am scared I don’t know enough. I already have 2 retakes
in the summer with only a few weeks to revise for them; I don’t think I could
deal with any more. I don’t know, I like my course and I don’t want to fail any
more of it.
I really don’t have much other news to talk about I’m
afraid.
Let’s not stop blogging, it was going so well.

If you're Jesus and you know it clap your hands.
I shouldn't really make fun of Jesus. I hear he gets really cross...
I have been critical of the whole place holding blogs, but now I do see their purpose. I will however make this into a more comprehensive story of my week first thing tomorrow.
Ok so its not first thing but there you go. Here is a more proper blog.
So this week has been boring as a ballbag and working all the time is making me sad. Everyday I get up at around 9, eat some porridge and drink some coffee and have a shower. Then from 10:30 to 1 ish I have done revising. Then I have lunch and then revise until 6 ish. I can not tell you how tedious this is.
Things that have brightened my week ever so slightly have been getting a new chair. My old chair broke severely and somewhat violently on Monday so I got a new one and it is so unbelievably comfy. I also had a hair cut and now my hair is short.
Friday night was lovely, we went to the Savoy. I got drunk. We stole so much polystyrene fruit from the display and Tom kept trying to eat it. Tom also got really mad at the sign on the church saying "God answers kneemail". I do not blame him.
On Saturday night I watched The Hunger Games with Kate, Harry and Miranda. I really enjoyed the film but god damn was it long. I needed a wee from about half an hour in so had to hold it for literally hours. I have ordered the books to read because Kate says the film misses good things out. I also need an easy book to read because at the moment I am reading If On A Winter's Night A Traveller which is really an excellent book but gosh it is hard to read quickly and without concentrating really hard.
My mum bought me a best of Bob Dylan CD yesterday because I mentioned listening to some of his music. I have never really properly listened to any of his stuff and I don't know why because I am finding this CD most enjoyable.
Thursday/Friday is going to be the best this week. Ahhhh I am excited.
Have I posted this picture before?
Love you.
P.S. Look who's done a thing:

It's not my birthday anymore
Calm down people.

So yesterday (three hours ago) was my birthday. I had a pretty good one - basically, I had breakfast in bed then went for a walk and had a pub lunch with Miranda, Cath, Chris, Jon, Harry, Tom and Oonagh then went for Costa, played Fable III (for any fable players, I just became king and the decisions you have to make after that are fucking ridiculous), went out for dinner at la carbonara then the roaring donkey with my family in the evening and then to the vic for Whacky Wednesday with Anna. I had a really nice day
Now I don't really know what to say, I just wanted to tell you all about it.
I shall endeavor to continue this blog tomorrow, for tomorrow (today) is Thirsday

I'm sorry, I don't think I'm going to blog any more.
LOLOLOLOL April fools. Made you look silly.
My first week of homeliness has been largely uneventful. I
shan’t bore you all with the details, all I will say is that I revised A LOT. I
am being unbearably keen and making little flashcards with questions and
answers on, I hate myself a bit for this.
Friday pub was literally the best. I got quite drunk and don’t
remember that much I don't think. What I do remember was excellent though. David was there
which was cool seeing as he is away again already. Cath was there too, but no
Josh or Juliet which is a shame. I hope you’re home soon/already.
It was my mum’s birthday today. I gave her a CD of A.A. Milne
poems that had been turned into songs by Chris T-T. My mum is a huge fan of
A.A. Milne and read loads of his poems to me when I was little, I can still
remember a large number of them now so I thought it might be the kind of thing
she would like. I was right. I am such a good son.
This coming week I have very little planned. Perhaps a
haircut, my hair is becoming somewhat unruly these days. Time to cut that shit
off before a tan line develops under where it was and then I have to walk
around with a white rim around my head.
I totally went for 3 runs this week guys, it wasn’t even
that bad. I have an app on my phone called ‘Run, Zombies!’ As you run it
measures how far and fast you’re going whilst telling you a story of a zombie
filled future. Every now and then it tells you zombies are just behind you and
you have to speed up otherwise they catch you and you drop all the cool items
you’ve collected. I like it a lot.
I don’t know what else to say so I guess this will have to
be it. Love you.
