Up The Tuesday

Well Tom, swapping stories under the stars sure does sound tempting. But robots would be all cold and metallicy, no good for spooning.
So ima gonna choose humans.

Hmm. Reading lineup was announced.
Arcade Fire and Modest Mouse looking pretty tasty. £75 day ticket looking less so.
But Libertines reunion make me happy. =D
Having a listen to dear Barât and co. to celebrate.
(And yeah, I said Barât. I went there.)

Won an Easter egg in an English lesson, because I am that awesome.

Riffs tomorrow.
Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Worthing / Brighton Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
Cardiff maybe Wednesday or Thursday.
Then back to work Friday, Saturday.

So. Shoop shoop. Shoop de lang a lang.

Out of the ordinary

well looks like i've decided to post a blog after all this time with a controvercial subject "The pros and cons of living in a world with more humans then robots". i'm going to make ten points for each side then you decide :)

So here we go!

More humans:
  • We can laugh, live and love under our own free will
  • partying wouldn't be the same with robots
  • we can do things ourself manually
  • we have souls!
  • since when have robots been good at sports
  • robots are really fucking boring to take photos of
  • i don't know if robots can cook an awesome cake if i'm honest
  • Robots can't make music with instruments (Very well anyway)
  • where would you insert cock on robot?
  • we were here first!

More robots:
  • We could train them to steal cookies!
  • they are really strong and buff!
  • then can solve maths quicker so we wouldn't have to wait for ages if we were buying beer and someone bought a load of coins insted of notes!
  • you can call them whatever you want, they won't understand :D
  • you could stay up all night swapping storys under the stars, it'd always listen to you
  • The terminator is eh pretty cool guy
  • you could make them kill people!
  • i'm sure they could make an apple pie from scratch
  • hello? they're the masters of dancing the Robot
  • they will recieve earth one day as a hand me down and will somehow correct how we've fucked up :3

Ladys and gents, the choice is yours. also enjoy this fact picture about robots :3

Dear diary,

Today was pretty grey so I thought I'd mirror this in my breakfast of weatabix and water. I got very very very wet and didn't really talk to anybody until politics which was kinda quiet but kinda nice.
I went to the dentist today as well, it was my last check-up before I turn 18 so I got a sticker with a picture of mickey mouse saying I was a good boy at the dentist but it fell off whilst I was riding my bike back to college.
I got a cup of tea with Lilly and talked of old times, walked home in the rain, went out for a curry with some family friends (but without the family).
As I scrawl, I ponder on the political significance of Stalin's leadership and listen to bjork with pride and wait for the day all of this will be over and we can all just chill out for weeks and weeks and weeks to forget A levels even exist.

Your friend,
Joshua

PS. Going to see the houses of parliment yesterday was AWESOME - I could write a whole blog about it but I would only ruin it.

my day: a blog by joshua lunn

Today was pretty okay i guess.
I went to college, did my thing, came home.
I'm totally sick of reading about Stalin now, I just want this week to be over. On the plus side though, when I've finished this blog I can turn off my internet and probably finish my coursework tonight.

I can't even tell you how much last weekend sucked out (except for the walk on saturday night).

Oh that reminds me, I have grave news.
I'm giving up alcohol for like 2 weeks, k? My pay always seems to end up in the wheatsheaf till by the end of the week and if I want to get 2000trees tickets, I'll have to wait another 2 weeks without spending anything to get it. I'm still coming out and everything, I'm just gonna be pretty boring. Sorry.

Still. Good News:

My amazon package came through yesterday full of goods I had forgotten I'd bought
NEAT
Also, I picked my university choices: Exeter and Reading.
RAD
Also, I got a violin! It needs a new G string (teehee) and a new bow but the college are going to pay for my lessons!
SWEET

Thats about it I guess.

Oh one more thing,
Tom and David: We have to go here

Song Song Tuesday

Hahaha, last night.
What an amazing headfuck.

Sucks to be sleeping: TOM.

So, who knew Wheatsheaf had an organ?!?

Psh, I dunno what to say.
Had an epic Sunday with Miranda. Loved getting discounts on cheese because I'm 'Miranda's friend'. =D
And loved our innovative way of carrying a plant pot home.

Oh yeah, and thanks for the frape, got a message this morning from my dad saying something along the lines of "So... you're in a relationship. Do we need to talk?"

Aaanyway. Owen Pallett, 25th March, Cardiff.
Getting a lift with ma mere so three seats left in the car if anyone's interested.

Dunno what there's left to say.
Ordered many a Frank Turner album in readyness for 2000 Trees.
So far I only know the versions David plays, so would probs be best to get to know the real thing.
Also got a couple more Belle & Sebastian so I can listen and mourn.

Swear when we're actually there I won't mention Latitude once. But for now.

Hmm.
I never finish with a picture.
I'll see what I've got.

Wow, not much. I forgot I emptied My Pictures folder.
Sorry guyss.

Me and the Tuesday

Wow. Last week was kinda pathetic kids.
Shame.

Psh, I have nothing to say...
Umm, Uni. Heard from Edinburgh, accepted their offer - York as insurance. (y)
On Sunday went to the 'Diff, saw sister, father and grandmother. Went to Barry, stood on a peninsula and listened as both my father and nan rang various friends / relatives to confirm whether or not Barry Island was in fact an island.
Won a pink fish on the penny falls. Me and Krissy now share partial ownership of him - we've organised terms where he shall change hands every time we meet.
Was stuck on a train for bear time and have decided to re-evaluate my friends according to the speed and volume with which they replied to my texts.

Cath: Two phone calls.
Josh: 00:30:28 - 13
Connor: 00:30:33 - 10
Oonagh: 00:35:42 - 1
Will: 01:59:39 - 6
Becky: 10:34:19 - 2
George: 17:21:32 - 1

The rest of you are dead to me.
Apart from Tom, as I don't have your number.
So really David, it's just you. Sorry man.

Edit:
Oooh, and yesterday beat my high score on Pyramid Solitaire.
611496 points. =D
