But it's not like anyone else was gonna post anyway.
Soooooo. Very lazy week. I don't want to do anything ever again.
Apathy is the best.
Although yesterday I cooked all the things. We had:
Home made falafels
Patatas bravas
Loaded potato skins with mushrooms, cheese and sour cream
Stuffed peppers with cous-cous, sundried tomatoes and grilled halloumi
Garlic mushrooms
Roasted aubergine stack with pesto and mozarella
Olives, sundried tomatoes
Bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar
WHADDUP TAPAS
Feasted with Owen, Richard, Pete, Gavin, Harry, Mike, Oli and Charlotte then we played many drinking games, danced lots, drunk lots then went to Potterow where we picked up a very very drunken Sarah.
Good night.
Mike is the best dancer. Ever. Like seriously. He is the reincarnation of Jarvis Cocker. And it's wonderful.
(Although Jarvis isn't dead, so I am unsure of the repercussions of this.)
So. Yeah. Basically just been going to Uni, cooking, drinking and lazing around.
Went out for a curry with Pete on Tuesday.
Watched White Ribbon - awesome film - at Charlotte's a few days ago.
Watched The Other Guys at mine another night - also awesome.
Bought lots of second hand books.
Saw The Matrix at FilmSoc, had a Teviot dinner.
Had an AWESOME dinner at Bonsai followed by a mini pub crawl, and the worst attempt at going out ever. We walked into Liquid, looked around then left immediately.
Exciting.

Holy moley, it's a blog!
Me this morning:
This morning I thought there was a 99% chance I was dying because I felt so ill. Now the odds of me surviving are looking more like 50/50 which is hopeful. If you don’t want to feel this bad, don’t drink 2 bottles of wine and then be too drunk to go out and have to go to bed early.

I have been incredibly lax about my blogging lately. That
ends today. Now that we are all separated I’ll try my best to get back into
doing proper blogs.
So since my last real update all sorts of things have
happened. I went to Reading, moved in to my new Bristol house, moved out of my
new Bristol house, moved into my Taunton house, saw real life surgery, been
covered in multiple bodily fluids, got a new bike, broke new bike, mended new
bike, broke new bike again, broke car, mended car, broke car again, went to
Exeter… and so on.
I am living in the halls of residence for Somerset College
until the middle of January. It isn’t too bad, we have tiny rooms but they have
en suites which is nice. The main downside is the internet being unusably slow whenever
more than one person is on it. Luckily everyone goes home at the weekend so
right now I can actually do things online!
I am really enjoying the hospital placement so far. We have
clinics and seminars we have to attend, but there is tons of free time where we
have to organise things to do ourselves. In most of my free time I have been
going to the orthopaedic theatres to see bone surgery and stuff. So far I’ve watched
2 hip replacements, a metalwork removal and a tibiotalocalcaneal fusion.
Orthopaedic surgery is pretty brutal but so so cool. Before this placement I
had never even considered surgery as a thing I wanted to do, but having
actually seen it, I am rather warming to the idea.
Last week I spent 2 days in A and E. The first day was
really quiet and I got a bit bored and didn’t want to go back, but then on the
second day it all kicked off. I saw a man with a collapsed lung come in and got
to help the consultant re inflate it. Then I got to poke my fingers in a cut in
a man’s head and touched his skull! It was great. I spent over 40 hours in the
hospital last week though and it was so damn tiring I was going to bed at 9:30
each night.
I stayed the night with Kerry in Exeter yesterday. Her new
house is super fancy; I didn’t want to touch anything in case I ruined it. I
got way drunk and had to go to bed before going out time, I had a great sleep
though.
This coming week I have less stuff going on which is nice. I
have the day off tomorrow so I’m going to catch up on actually learning things.
All this seeing cool things is fun, but it isn’t a great way to learn things,
so I need to look up more about what I’ve seen in my own time.
I can’t think of much else to tell you about so I’ll leave
it at that. I hope you are all settling back into uni now and you aren’t
working too hard.
Miss you.

Two in a row?
Wow you guys suck.
The party was brilliant, thanks for asking.
We drank lots, stuff happened - you know.
The next day me, Pete, Sags, Alex, Oli and Georgie went to Elie.
Spent the next few days on the beach, walking, paddling, drinking. Played lots on the golf course at night. Went to pubs and did nice things.
Then back to Edinburgh.
Started lectures again. All seem fine.
Have Wednesdays off which is nice, and not in till 1:30pm on Monday's and Thursday. So a pretty damn nice schedule.
Saw my friend's band yesterday. They were wonderful as always. (SOMA, look them up.)
Got a new duvet cover. It has ponies on it.
Bought Solomon a new pot. (He's my weeping fig tree.)
So yeah. All in all pretty uninteresting.
Although, we have a new flat mate - John.
He replaced Oli.
But Oli's always here anyway. He's sat next to me on the sofa right now. We're in the process of dehydrating some raspberries for a project he's doing.
Earlier we distilled some rose water.

Early blog, due to imminent massive party times.
My flat's having a big party tonight - Dickie and Sags's joint birthday bonanza.
So I shall blog now as I am not blogging this evening.
SO. Missed last blog, was in Amsterdam.
Was awesome. 22hour coach journey was less so.
Did Amsterdam things.
Saturday went to GHQ and CCs, was wonderful. Very drunk.
Monday had a cheese and wine night then hit the Hive.
Tuesday saw BEIRUT. In Glasgow.
Loved it.
Had a hair cut.
It's been good.

I have neglected the blog these past few weeks and I am truly sorry about that.
It is a bit late now though as I have to be in a clinic at 9 tomorrow morning so forgive for missing another day.
I'll try my best to come back tomorrow and write much more about what I have been doing with myself lately. No promises though.

Early blog
I can't sleep :( I went to piri piri with my sister and her husband earlier and had brandy coffee and now I cannot get to sleep at all. I'm getting up in just over two hours because I have a market in Stroud for my mum. This makes me sad, UK worried I'm going to crash at lunchtime and get really grumpy.
I'm giving blood on Monday, I'm quite scared and I think I will cry but I know it is worth it. Hopefully I won't pass out haha, I am going to join the bone marrow register too.
Had an int, erview today, not sure how it went. Was quite rushed beforehand because they forgot to rearrange the times and I got a call on my lunch break because they had me booked in at the same time as someone else, so I had to run up town and gather my stuff quickly. It's working with the tenants, getting them more involved and giving them more opportunities to get qualifications and stuff. I think it sounds interesting. But I think the interview wasn't good, I was so nervous! I find out on Monday....
I miss you all, sorry for not being sociable I'm just busy with work and get tired from bootcamp and stuff. I have next Friday off so maybe do stuff then if anyone is around? My cousin is coming to stay for two nights the Monday after next, so that will be lovely.
That is all I have to say, here is a picture. I hope I haven't posted it before, but it makes me giggle.
